{"id":41578,"date":"2015-09-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-09-06T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.businesseventsthailand.com\/newsmedia\/bidding-inspiration-for-thai-associations\/"},"modified":"2015-09-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-09-06T17:00:00","slug":"bidding-inspiration-for-thai-associations","status":"publish","type":"newsmedia","link":"https:\/\/uattceb.reveri.app\/zh-hans\/newsmedia\/bidding-inspiration-for-thai-associations\/","title":{"rendered":"Bidding Inspiration for Thai Associations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-86d8bc0c47.jpg\" style=\"width: 700px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Conventions Department of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) showcased local Thai association\u2019s inspiration that finally turned into a successful bid to the audiences attending TCEB\u2019s Meetings Industry Day 2015, which was held in the evening of August 26th at InterContinental Hotel in Bangkok.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-231a0bbc04.jpg\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-9a18e61f97.jpg\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meetings Industry Day is annual event of TCEB for sharing annual performances, and marketing plans for the forthcoming year with the stakeholders, partners and media. For 2015 edition, Conventions Department, led by Ms. Vichaya Soonthornsaratoon, Department Director, featured a special session to inspire around 150 audiences representing local Thai associations, education institutes and meeting suppliers to bring in international meetings by inviting Pongsak Wannakrairot, MD, Former President of International Academy of Pathology, Thailand Chapter, to share his experiences in a successful bid and hosting of the 30th Congress of the International Academy of Pathology (IAP 2014) in Bangkok which attended by over 1,000 delegates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-2d5344e1e6.jpg\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-f1a509c058.jpg\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite chairing a small association at that time, the Doctor told the audiences during his 40-minute talk how he overcame challenges and difficulties in bidding, why perseverance really counts, why partnership is important, what partners need to take to help make a successful bid and organizing, etc. In all, he encouraged the audiences to use the international meetings as a means to elevate and strengthen their profession and promote Thailand as a whole.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-b834d102a7.jpg\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/uploads\/editor_files\/20190828-b7dc5bcb65.jpg\" style=\"width: 340px;\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":37930,"template":"","news-media-category":[],"years":[829],"class_list":["post-41578","newsmedia","type-newsmedia","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","years-829"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Bidding Inspiration for Thai Associations - Thailand Convention &amp;
