Bangkok, 13 June 2014: \u201cBangkok International Digital Content Festival 2014\u201d in conjunction with Bangkok Comic Con by BEC TERO True Vision will take place on 4 \u2013 6 July 2014 at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon.<\/p>\n

The 1st Bangkok International Digital Content Festival is organized by Software Industry Promotion Agency (Public Organization) (SIPA), Thailand Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), in coordination with 5 major digital content associations namely Thai Animation and Computer Graphics Association (TACGA), Digital Content association of Thailand (DCAT), Thai Game Association (TGA), e-learning association of Thailand (e-Lat) and ACM SIGGRAPH Bangkok Chapter<\/p>\n

The exhibition is showcasing creativity and latest development of Thailand digital content industry including animation, game, e learning app and visual effect development. Seminar and workshop sessions for developers are on schedule.<\/p>\n

The goal is to sharpen industry understanding, to give inspiration, and to unveil opportunity in local and international markets to attendants and audiences.<\/p>\n

A parallel event is an ultimate business matching session to be held from 4 \u2013 5 July at Centara Grand at Central World. The event is uniting overseas influential buyers, decision makers, distributors and digital players with selected Thai content developers. It is a tantalizing business plantform for a range of co-production, outsourcing projects and other business cooperation — the first ASEAN epicentre of digital content landscape to find future partners and broaden business base for all participants.<\/p>\n

Mr.Trairat Chatkeaw, President of SIPA \u201cSIPA hope to increase growth of digital content industry and become a major drive in ASEAN. SIPA\u2019s mission develop professional, digital content product, increasing intense rivalry among digital market. From these mission, SIPA willing to accomplish the market achievement to increase domestic income. There are over 40 buyers from international countries come with the expectation of generating income over 250 million baht\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr.Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, President of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau \u201calso support that TCEB was highly welcome international delegations on MICE in international level; especially digital contents, which is being interested in public. The warmth welcome will be delivered to international delegates and it will be result to an increasing of Thai\u2019s economy which is align with organizing committee.\u201d<\/p>\n

This event will include special activities for comic fan such as inviting key players from Hollywood and Asia to join, celebrating 75 years of Batman, Game of Thrones activities. The joint event with Bangkok International Digital Content Festival 2014 will be the great step to move forward and become an international center of movies and animation as well as inviting international digital content performance from well-known character such as Ironman, Hulk, Batman, Gundum join with our Thai\u2019s character; pangpound, shelldon.
