“Communications in Recovery” – How businesses should communicate in preparedness for a rebound in business.

This webinar is intended to provide Business Events industry stakeholders and leaders in tourism & hospitality with a perspective on communicating during the recovery process. What to say. How to say it. And most importantly, when to say. As we move into the “new normal”, creating content and new narratives, while connecting on the right channels, will determine success in recovery.

“We’re back in business” is a message we need to be ready to shout-out, whilst being mindful that the past couple of months was not the time to post commercially sales-driven information, as it would have been insensitive, inappropriate and showing lack of compassion. When will be the right time and what should businesses communicate during the different phases of rebuilding their business? What channels should we be exploiting to get our message across? What source markets should we be targeting first? And risk management in communicating to protect brand trust.

Future guests will be concerned about travelling, which is to be expected given the worldwide exposure and risk of moving through crowded places, such as airports. Trust is the new currency in communications. Customers should be reassured that you are doing everything in your power to ensure a clean, and safe environment awaits. It’s critical that customers are reassured that their safety is your priority.

A panel of experts will discuss communicating during the recovery process, as businesses restart.
